We believe that it is the right of all pupils to have access to a curriculum that will provide opportunities to acquire new skills, knowledge and understanding. This can most effectively be
achieved through stimulating, challenging and practical activities that are matched to the individual levels of ability of the children. Children should also be encouraged to be
self-motivating, to take initiative and to develop independence of thought and action.
Thus, children at North Reddish Junior School are encouraged to develop in confidence and to achieve their full potential academically, spiritually, emotionally, socially and physically. They
will be aware of the importance of developing good relationships in order to successfully fulfil their role in society as good citizens.
